Manager Receives Food Service Excellence Award
Congratulations to Karee Adams, our house manager in House 10 in Garland, for being recognized by the Garland Health Department and receiving the 2015 Food Excellence Award. This award is only given to the top performer in each business category in Garland.
The highest score available is a 100 and two random, unannounced inspections are done throughout the year. Karee performed better than every other assisted living home in the city of Garland!
Inspectors test their knowledge of food preparation safety guidelines, proper cooking temperatures, cleanliness of cooking and facility areas, cooling and holding temperatures, watch them serve meals, how they plate food, and many, many other things.
Karee maintained an average score of 99! Outstanding job Karee and congratulations on this recognition and award. Well done!
