Creating moments of meaning and memories with your senior is difficult if they are no longer living with you, or have become hard in memory and physical function. But that doesn’t mean it has to be impossible; it is not. Your parent or loved one should be afforded the kind of respect, assistance and care that any human deserves. Mayberry Gardens and it’s staff of compassionate, trained professionals will help you and your senior continue living an inclusive and joyful life in a loving, and nurturing community.
Grounds Description
At Mayberry Gardens, we like to say that we are not a facility; we are a home. We have an all inclusive, family style environment surrounded by beautiful, landscaped yards from blooming bushes to manicured grass, vibrant nature and warm, comfortable homes — not facilities — that provide a kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room and 11 private bedrooms/bathrooms for each residents.
Activities and Fun
Our trained staff and activity coordinators help to provide and fulfilling and enriching experience for our seniors everyday. There are several activities provided to enjoy, such as:
- Movie nights
- Singing and dominoes
- Musical performances
- Guest Speaker and lectures
- Poetry recitals
And so much more. Our seniors have every opportunity to open up creatively and express themselves.
Memory Care and Assistance
Mayberry Gardens memory care and assistance has the highest staff to resident ratio on our property, even having dedicated specialists participating in, and looking over, activities. Our grounds are tailor-made for seniors with dementia or Alzheimer’s, providing each and every resident with safety, and security prevention from wandering or getting lost.
