Traditions are what makes the Holidays special. We are so grateful for the Naaman FFA and Horticulture Department for including us in their Christmas Traditions. Every year they bring beautiful Christmas Arrangements and deliver them to each of our homes. Thank you for brightening our Holidays!
Thank you to the local Montessori School for bringing their students to trick or treat with our residents. You can see our staff and visiting nurses dressed up along with them!
We had a great Easter weekend. Our favorite activity for our residents this weekend was our first annual Easter egg hunt. We are grateful to some of the local pre-schools in Garland and Richardson for bringing their students over to entertain our residents and bring back memories of Easters long ago with children hunting eggs:)
Recently we had the Children’s Traveling Theatre come and perform a rendition of the Musical Annie. This was a real treat for our residents who enjoyed hearing the children’s voices and seeing them perform. It was a great event to remember!
We’ve just had the most wonderful time hearing a selection of songs about America from the cutest group of children from the Happy Days Day-Care. They came to wish our residents a Happy Valentines Day. Each child made a valentine to deliver to the residents along with a huge Happy Valentines Day hug. Thank you Happy Days…
